Thank you for visiting your online gateway to the Hancock County Recorder's Office. Here you will find information, forms, news and answers to your questions about recording documents and searching for information.

The Hancock County Recorder's Office preserves many of the community's most important records, ranging from home mortgages and neighborhood covenants to business names and military discharge documents. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing you with prompt and accurate assistance with your recording and retrieval needs.

Most documents are recorded within 24 hours and will be returned in the self addressed stamped envelope which was provided when the original document was submitted for recording.
