Tax Sale Information
NEW this year the Hancock County Tax Sale will be held online. The internet sale will be held Friday, October 22, 2021 starting at 10:00am. Parcels will be closing in batches. Batches are groups of items with the same closing time. The properties that do not sell the first time through the sale will be offered again in a ‘last batch’ to give interested buyers one last opportunity to bid.
Payment requirements will be cash, cashier’s check, certified funds, or wire transfer. Payment must be received by Monday, October 25, 2001 at NOON. The sale will be conducted by SRI Inc. To register for this sale, you will need to become a member of www.zeusacution.com and then register for the Hancock County sale specifically. For more information regarding the auction system please call 1-800-800-9588. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to understand what they are bidding on and the requirements after the tax sale in order to be able to receive a tax deed on the property.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to follow Indiana tax sale & redemption law which can be found in Indiana Code 6-1.1-24 and IC 6-1.1-25.
